I’m Frustrated

April 13, 2008 by admin · 30 Comments

If you’ve been subscribed to my newsletter or been reading my blog for a while, you’ll realized that I don’t blog everyday although I wish I can. It’s because there are many things going on in my business and personal life. Trying to find a good time to sit down and write from your heart doesn’t happen everyday, for me that is.

Recently, I’m frustrated.

Many things that I wanted to happen did not go the way I’ve expected– especially a few of my business projects. Not only that, my laptop was giving a big problem recently and it’s been a pain in the rear trying to learn Microsoft Vista. Also, there are a million things that I need to approve and review to proceed because most of them are at a bottleneck.

You know the feeling- when it seems like everybody wants a piece of you?

Basically, I’m fighting against time to get tasks being completed and this is very frustrating because each time you finished one, then there will be more popping up.

I was at the verge of losing my patience so I took a break by watching a DVD. And the movie I watched was the Pursuit of Happyness starring Will Smith. It’s a movie how a man pursues for his goal regardless of the obstacles in his life including being homeless. Great movie, touching story and it ends with a happy ending. By the way, this movie is inspired by a true story.
http://www.sonypictures.net/movies/thepursuitofhappyness/

I believe, Chris Gardner, the character in the movie was able to overcome adversity and pain because he has a purpose that is bigger than himself – of making sure his son gets a better life. That is his inspiration and when your inspiration is about others, it’s many times stronger.

After watching that, it hit me like a bullet train – my mind was not focus on the purpose of why I want to complete the tasks on hand. Whatever tasks we are doing – it’s because WE WANT TO COMPLETE SOMETHING. If that is not true, then it’s not a task. For instance, playing PlayStation 3 is not a task, it’s leisure. So I’m trying to keep up with the work because I am keeping up with the work without a clear direction.

I called this ‘purpose’, the Success Outcome and it’s covered in the You Chan Do It Success Outcome System that I’ve created. Yeah, that course is 100% totally free and I’ll explain why at the webpage. If you go there by clicking here, you can signup instantly and there’s also an option for you to upgrade to accelerate your success. That one requires a small investment but it’s nothing compared to getting what you want in life quicker.

Anyway, by knowing your true purpose, all of your obstacles will be temporary. When you believe in what you can accomplish, everything else that are blocking you are just a test of time and some will called it, God’s test. It’s not Time or God’s denial but test of life we’re going through.

Once I start to evaluate my frustration at a deeper level, I start to learn more about it. How we represent our obstacles is how they’ll mean to us.

Anthony Robbins has taught a lot of analogies in life. On a separate note, I’ve post a video by Anthony Robbins for you to watch at

http://successandlife.com/articles/305/1/Anthony-Robbins-Video—The-Defining-Factor/Page1.html.

How do you see obstacles?

Are they an ongoing battle? If they are, I won’t be surprise that you’ll be in a ‘war’ all of the time. That’s how I represent them earlier and create frustrations that’s draining my energy everyday.

Are they a type of gamble? Then you’ll be living in a fearful state because you can’t afford to lose your stake.

Now, what if… obstacles are represented as games? So if you lose, what should you do? Just play again to win.

Or maybe surfing? Sometimes, there are big waves for you to ride and sometimes, there are just aren’t and all you can do it WAIT. Wait = being patience.

My remedy for stress, frustrations and any negative emotions is this – know why you need to go through these feelings and evaluate them whether it’s worth it. Then represent them with a positive analogy that will assure you that these are not permanent. It’s easier said than done, but now, you know that you have the power to change and control your life.

Something about Money You Don’t Know (Or Knew?)

April 3, 2008 by admin · 4 Comments

Money.

It’s the universal currency that all civilized human beings are familiar with. So what is money? Or precisely, HOW DO YOU SEE MONEY?

Money means differently to everyone.

It can represent power and authority.

A measurement of success or contribution.

Maybe happiness?

Perhaps, some see it as only a piece of paper and they earn it just so that they can carry on with their live. Once it’s finished spent, they’ll work again to earn it.

Now that you KNOW what money is, consider the difference between money and wealth. Money relates to your income where else wealth is define on the assets you have and how they’re being used.

True wealth has nothing to do with how much money you have in your bank or the car you drive. It’s the sense of well-being knowing you are ‘rich’– it does not need to be seen by anyone but just you.

As how many view money in different ways, power, authority, happiness and so on – some also sees it as a ‘relationship’. Clarifying your relationship with money will determine whether money’s your master or slave – who’s controling who.

So is your relationship with money is something stressful or a healthy one?

You see, if it’s giving you negative impact, no wonder you’re not striking gold. Simply because your unconscious mind will ‘prevent’ you from pain and push it away. You’ve heard about this a million times so I’m not going to write more about it.

The only way for you to know the answer is to look in the mirror and face the truth – because all of us hated or feared money at one time or another in our life.

When I was broke, money means a lot to me but that does not means I like it. Because the lack of it, I suffered ‘pain’. I was broke. But noted that I was never poor. You can take my money away and make me broke, but I will strive to stand up and play the game of money again– and win because I now know how’s the game is being played. So the only way to overcome disassociation with money is to “ACCEPT” money into your life without fear or shame.

So if you want to be financially wealthy, don’t just sit and do ‘law of attraction’. It’s a combination –

Right Mindset + Right Attitude + A Solid Plan + Proven Techniques + Taking Actions = $$$ Into Your Pocket

Right mindset could be how to attract money into your life.

Attitude? You can start with being patient to obtain wealth.

Solid plan will mean knowing what you want to achieve and how you’re going to get there.

Techniques are yours to be chosen.

Taking actions need no explanatory and this is the part that most failed.

So what does money means to you and how you make it to be on your side? Share with me at the Comment below.
