Sleeping And Your Subconscious Mind
October 10, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
In my earlier post, I share about The Power Of Sleep - today, I’ll cover the other aspect of sleeping… using the subconscious mind to attract success while you’re sleeping. It may be hard to grasp at first so take your time to understand this power.
Your body sleeps but your sub-conscious mind never sleeps. It is awake from the time of your birth until the day you leave this world. Without conscious guidance (meaning your direct instruction), it takes care of all the involuntary operations of your body from extracting the necessary elements from your food for blood, bone, tissue and energy to keeping your blood in circulation.
More importantly, your subconscious mind also governs your personality, your character and your inmost drives, your deepest and most secret desires.
Note that it’s also working independently from conscious mind. So we find that the subconscious mind is not only in charge of all of the involuntary operations in the body, but it also does the big job of following instructions from the conscious mind. And, in carrying out those instructions, it must, necessarily, be capable of reasoning.
Here is a very simple example to make this concept easier to grasp:
Suppose you hire a carpenter to do a repair job on your house. He would inspect the place, bring the tools he would need: a saw, hammer, auger, etc. He would not get a huge van and bring with him every tool and machine he had in his shop.
It is the same with your two minds. The conscious mind will bring in only the information you need to enable you to carry on the work you are doing at the time.
Sometimes there is a “road block” and wanted facts fail to come into consciousness.
These facts will not come into consciousness until the conscious mind gives the subconscious mind instructions to locate the facts through some such remark as: “It will come to me in a moment.” (Never use a negative, such as: “I have forgotten.” This is just the same as consciously instructing your subconscious mind to do nothing about it.)
As mentioned earlier, the subconscious mind has reasoning abilities which is independent of the conscious mind, but with this difference. The conscious mind, in making a decision, can base its judgment either on facts already stored within the subconscious mind, or on facts which it finds through research, outside the subconscious mind. The decision, therefore, may come from existing facts, newly acquired facts, or a combination of both.
The reasoning of the subconscious mind is confined to the facts and information already contained within it. This is important to know and to remember! Decisions reached through the reasoning of the subconscious mind will be good or faulty, depending upon the type of information it contains. If your mind leans heavily toward the negative side, your decisions will be negative in their nature. If your mind leans toward the positive side, your decisions will be positive in their nature.
Got it so far?
Suppose you had the opportunity to acquire a business of your own. You might decide to call upon your subconscious mind for a decision as to whether or not to accept the offer. Before retiring at night, you might hold a thought, such as: “Tonight, while I am asleep, my subconscious mind will work on my problem and give me a decision when I awaken in the morning.”
This is the part of how sleeping is so important in helping you to achieve success.
If you have a subconscious mind which leans toward the negative side, you will be apt to get a decision something like this: “No, I don’t think I had better tackle this business. I have not had very good luck in the past with my ventures; this one would probably cause me to lose money on it. No, I’d better stick to my present job, as poor as it is.”
On the other hand, if your subconscious mind is definitely on the positive, constructive side, most likely your decision will run something like this: “Boy, this is just the break I have been waiting for. With much study—and not being afraid to work—I know I can put it over in a big way. My decision is yes.”
With this illustration, you can easily understand why it was suggested in an earlier chapter that you hold to the thought: I CAN be a Success, until it establishes an impenetrable layer of positiveness in your subconscious mind.
SO HOW TO MAKE YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND WORK FOR YOU?
If you wanted an errand boy to do something for you, what would you do? You would merely give him the proper instruction. If you wished him to go to the post office and mail a letter, you’d tell him to do so; and with perfect certainty that he would do just that, you dismiss it from your mind and think no more about it. You wouldn’t doubt his ability to do so; nor would you doubt his willingness to do so. You would instinctively know that the errand would be done.
You can give your subconscious mind instructions with the same carefree certainty.
Two specific things would happen—quickly:
1. You would lose the feeling of doubt as to whether or not you could obtain the money. There would be a feeling of assurance that within a short period of time, the needed money would be available.
2. Thoughts would begin flowing into your conscious mind not only telling you what to do to get the money, but actually inspiring you to take immediate steps to obtain it.
Here again I must repeat a statement made before: Your subconscious mind works best when your conscious mind is either in abeyance {ASLEEP) or pleasantly occupied.
Robert Updegraff, in his book, Putting Your Subconscious Mind to Work for You, said:
“It is not so much a lack of Brain Power or of business capacity or acumen that keeps men from progressing faster toward their objectives, and toward a solid position in the world. It is rather, because they take only half a mind into business with them. The result is—that they work their conscious mind too hard—too many hours of the day—and too many days of the year. We feel virtuous, because we work so hard and so conscientiously that we are tired, whereas we should feel ashamed that we work so hard— and make so little progress—and we are weary of mind.”
Mr. Updegraff meant by “half a mind” that we attempt to do all of our work consciously without taking advantage of the tremendous reservoir of power at our command in the subconscious mind.
From this moment onward you should begin forming the habit of putting the subconscious mind to work for you. This power-in-hand is on the job twenty-four hours every day. As you learn to use that great force, that endless source of intelligence at your disposal, you will find that, consciously, you have more time for recreation and enjoyment.
Have you ever observed that those people who accomplish the most are the ones who seem to work the least?
Let me crystallize the dominant idea in this blog post: The subconscious mind does its best work while the conscious mind is either in abeyance or pleasantly occupied.
This gives you the happy news that to be successful, it is really essential that you take more time for enjoyable diversion, instead of working harder—and longer. This is possible by utilizing the forces of the subconscious mind to do your constructive thinking and planning, while your conscious mind puts into action the results from the efforts of your subconscious mind.
“If I work my Creative Mind twenty-four hours each day, won’t I always be mentally tired?”
No because right now, your subconscious mind is already working twenty-four hours each day. If it is not being directed into positive, constructive channels through constructive thinking, it will be working against you by obeying negative thoughts.
You can, at will, direct your subconscious mind to assist you in the solving of problems; to help you make the right decisions; to create ways and means of great achievement.
Remember: Be specific in the instructions you give to your subconscious mind. If it is better health you want, know that your subconscious mind is directing the glands and organs of your body to bring you better health, and that thoughts will come into your consciousness directing you to do the things necessary to obtain better health.
If you desire further advancement in your work, know that your subconscious mind will direct you to take the steps necessary to assure advancement.
If problems stand between you and your happiness, know that your subconscious mind, with its reasoning faculties, will provide a practical solution for you. Know that your subconscious mind stands ready, able and willing to assist you in any way you may desire.
And you need to have faith. Make certain you are not merely wishing for better conditions through your subconscious mind.
What you have read in this blog is priceless. Make it a part of your consciousness by rereading it before exit this page, for your own advantage.

The Power Of Sleep
October 9, 2009 by admin · 1 Comment
Today, I think, I’ll write on a topic that most self improvement gurus hardly talk about…
The power of sleeping. I know it’s not a ’sexy’ topic but if you understand the power of it, you can actually see changes in your life - not just health but wealth.
I tried to write something for you to read yesterday but I couldn’t force myself to do that because I was having lack of sleep. But today, as I’m writing right now, it’s just a breeze of effort because I slept ‘enough’ last night.
I know that many people get rich at the cost of their health- which of course, it defeats the point of being wealthy.
This should not happen to you, or to me. When you build your wealth, it should be your happiest journey of all time and not a struggling moment.
I used to try to sleep less so that I have more ‘time’ to do more work. Theoretically, that sounded like an effective way but in reality, I was actually producing less and being an unhappy person.
Your body and mine are scientifically developed so that they’ll automatically rejuvenate themselves when our bodies go to rest - this includes your brain development and body cells. They need this time for them to ‘work’ so that you’re healthy.
There are exceptional people who can sleep very little and still be at top performance. Who knows, you might be one of them but if you’re not, then you need to get enough sleep.
You see, with ‘enough’ sleep, you can stay fresh, energetic and most importantly, not being grumpy.
Let me give you an example…
You wake up and not having enough sleep. Your mind goes into this thougt… “Sigh, I got to wake up again…. I wish I can sleep for another hour or two.”
Then your whole day is messed up because you start with a ‘bad’ day, right at the spot you woke up!
But on the other hand, if you wake up and say, “That was a good sleep, I can’t wait to see what the Day has to offer and do my stuff!”
You wake up smiling and look forward for your day.
So how much is enough?
To me, it’s not really by the hours but how much your body needs. So by definition, ‘enough’ would means whenever my body and mind are ready to ‘wake up’. If you’re thinking that this is not achievable for you, that’s rational saying because you might have a commitment to wake up on time (like getting to the office).
But if you’re determine enough, this can change. It doesn’t require you to be a genius to achieve this because you have the control to choose when to sleep at night. If you have to wake up early, then wouldn’t it make sense for you to sleep earlier?
Even if you have less hours in a day now (because you sleep more), it really doesn’t means that you’ll be accomplishing less.
Have you heard of the sentence, “less is more”?
I read a book, The Power Of Less by Leo Babauta and it talks about being efficient and effective in your life. One of the key lessons I’ve learned in it is knowing how to set limits for own yourself. Once you have your own limits, you know what you’re aiming for and you don’t get overwhelmed with the unnecessary tasks and ‘opportunities’.
Going back to the topic of sleeping.
There are a few things I want to share with you to get the most out of it:
1. Don’t eat a lot before you go to sleep. I know you’ve heard about this, I’m not worry about you getting fat but by eating that way, you’re going to sleep more unnecessarily. Your body will need to work overtime to process that food when you’re sleeping.
2. Before you sleep, reflect what are the 3 most important tasks you’ve completed today and sleep on it - let your unconscious world take over from there.
3. Before you go to sleep, reflect your day of how gratitude you are - you’ll have a happier sleep.
4. Take a quick nap in the day time if you have to, don’t feel guilty with it - it’ll rejuvenate you to perform better at your work, whether it’s a physical work or work that requires your thinking power. Of course, this goes without saying, it’s a nap, not sleep.
5. If you find yourself having hard to sleep because your mind won’t ’sleep’ yet, have a conversation with it - let your mind knows that you’re aware of his message and acknowledge it.
Sleeping is not really part of your body but part of your mind. Most people think that sleeping is just an ‘activity’ where it is required for the body to be fully functional. That’s true but I believe, the biggest part that people are missing out is sleeping is actually a way how your sub-conscious mind connects with the Universe to ‘attract’ success and wealth into your life effortlessly.
As strange as it sounds, our subconscious minds are busy working on our goals mostly during the period of your sleep.
So not only sleeping is important for your health and positive thoughts, it’s also doing other thing for you at the subconscious level, which is manifesting success into your life.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Reading this article is not an excuse for you to sleep a lot and waste time. That’s not the purpose of this article at all. Use your own common sense of how much sleep you need.
If you find value in what you read, please leave your comment below. This goes without saying that I’ll appreciate that since I read every single comment personally to know what my readers like and think.

There is A Science of Getting Rich
September 2, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
“THERE is a Science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches; once these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty.
The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way; those who do things in this Certain Way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich; while those who do not do things in this Certain Way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor.
It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects; and, therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich.
That the above statement is true is shown by the following facts:
Getting rich is not a matter of environment, for, if it were, all the people in certain neighborhoods would become wealthy; the people of one city would all be rich, while those of other towns would all be poor; or the inhabitants of one state would roll in wealth, while those of an adjoining state would be in poverty.
But everywhere we see rich and poor living side by side, in the same environment, and often engaged in the same vocations. When two men are in the same locality, and in the same business, and one gets rich while the other remains poor, it shows that getting rich is not, primarily, a matter of environment.
Some environments may be more favorable than others, but when two men in the same business are in the same neighborhood, and one gets rich while the other fails, it indicates that getting rich is the result of doing things in a Certain Way.
And further, the ability to do things in this certain way is not due solely to the possession of talent, for many people who have great talent remain poor, while other who have very little talent get rich.
Studying the people who have got rich, we find that they are an average lot in all respects, having no greater talents and abilities than other men. It is evident that they do not get rich because they possess talents and abilities that other men have not, but because they happen to do things in a Certain Way.
Getting rich is not the result of saving, or “thrift”; many very penurious people are poor, while free spenders often get rich.
Nor is getting rich due to doing things which others fail to do; for two men in the same business often do almost exactly the same things, and one gets rich while the other remains poor or becomes bankrupt.
From all these things, we must come to the conclusion that getting rich is the result of doing things in a Certain Way.
If getting rich is the result of doing things in a Certain Way, and if like causes always produce like effects, then any man or woman who can do things in that way can become rich, and the whole matter is brought within the domain of exact science.
The question arises here, whether this Certain Way may not be so difficult that only a few may follow it.
This cannot be true, as we have seen, so far as natural ability is concerned. Talented people get rich, and blockheads get rich; intellectually brilliant people get rich, and very stupid people get rich; physically strong people get rich, and weak and sickly people get rich.
Some degree of ability to think and understand is, of course, essential; but in so far natural ability is concerned, any man or woman who has sense enough to read and understand these words can certainly get rich.
Also, we have seen that it is not a matter of environment. Location counts for something; one would not go to the heart of the Sahara and expect to do successful business. Getting rich involves the necessity of dealing with men, and of being where there are people to deal with; and if these people are inclined to deal in the way you want to deal, so much the better. But that is about as far as environment goes.
If anybody else in your town can get rich, so can you; and if anybody else in your state can get rich, so can you.
Again, it is not a matter of choosing some particular business or profession. People get rich in every business, and in every profession; while their next door neighbors in the same vocation remain in poverty.
It is true that you will do best in a business which you like, and which is congenial to you; and if you have certain talents which are well developed, you will do best in a business which calls for the exercise of those talents.
Also, you will do best in a business which is suited to your locality; an ice-cream parlor would do better in a warm climate than in Greenland, and a salmon fishery will succeed better in the Northwest than in Florida, where there are no salmon.
But, aside from these general limitations, getting rich is not dependent upon your engaging in some particular business, but upon your learning to do things in a Certain Way. If you are now in business, and anybody else in your locality is getting rich in the same business, while you are not getting rich, it is because you are not doing things in the same Way that the other person is doing them.
No one is prevented from getting rich by lack of capital. True, as you get capital the increase becomes more easy and rapid; but one who has capital is already rich, and does not need to consider how to become so. No matter how poor you may be, if you begin to do things in the Certain Way you will begin to get rich; and you will begin to have capital. The getting of capital is a part of the process of getting rich; and it is a part of the result which invariably follows the doing of things in the Certain Way.
You may be the poorest man on the continent, and be deeply in debt; you may have neither friends, influence, nor resources; but if you begin to do things in this way, you must infallibly begin to get rich, for like causes must produce like effects.
If you have no capital, you can get capital; if you are in the wrong business, you can get into the right business; if you are in the wrong location, you can go to the right location; and you can do so by beginning in your present business and in your present location to do things in the Certain Way which causes success.”
I’ve gotten this short manuscript from The Science Of Getting Rich Book but don’t you think it’s awesome?
It’s AWESOME to know that if you’re terrible of becoming wealthy, if you’re jobless, if you’re living paycheck-to-payment or you’re just not making enough, it’s because you’ve been following the WRONG WAY.
There are many “right ways” to wealth but I can tell you a few of my right ways that will never go wrong - STOP WHINNING and STOP LOOKING AT YOUR LOUSY PROBLEMS.
Start celebrating your life right now and look at your opportunities.
Stop being a cheapskate and invest in yourself (for pleasure, knowledge, fulfillment, etc).
Stop doing the same thing every time and explore new ways of doing something differently because if you do the same stuff, you’re gonna get the same result.

Money Grows On Trees
May 29, 2009 by admin · 14 Comments
It’s common to hear an advice like, “Son, money doesn’t grows on tree” from a parent.
So the Son felt disappointed because his parent can’t afford to buy the stuff he wanted.
Could be something as simple as a new pair of shoes for Christmas. And of course, the parent would only say this if they really can’t afford – I believe that any parents would give the world to their child if they can. I have a child too, so I can relate.
Sidebar: This is NOT a parenting lesson so please don’t leave a comment about spoiling your kid and so on – I’m giving this as a metaphor for today’s post.
What happened? The Son developed a new belief system. As he keeps on getting these, sooner or later, it’ll be permanently accepted as the ‘truth’.
But what if you say to yourself, ‘money grows on tree’.
And you believe that.
Your whole world will change.
Money growing on trees is just a metaphor but if you start saying that all the time, you’ll start to manifest the thought that it’s EASY TO GET MONEY.
That’s the first step – to overcome your problem in your mind first. Once you’ve successfully done that, everything else is east and you know why?
Because if you really believe that is attainable and easy, you won’t give up.
Dreams are crushed not because they were too hard to achieve – they were crushed even before they start.
Becoming rich is difficult if one is obsessed with the mechanics of it because he’ll keep on finding more ways and trying his best to tweak the vehicle he’s using to obtain wealth. I was in that shoe before – the first vehicle I wanted to use was option trading. At that point, I was depressed because I couldn’t understand how it works and it overwhelmed my mind.
And you know how I finally crack the code of wealth?
Yup, you got it – by understanding how wealth works and how it starts from the mindset.
Until today, I still haven’t learned option trading but I’ve got my million from somewhere else. Point stated.
I know that some reading this will still think ‘millionaire mindset’ stuff is wishy washy. That’s why they don’t get it.
But be cautious about accepting metaphors blindly.
For instance, money growing on trees means passive income. But passive income is almost a myth if you don’t truly understand it. You still need to take care your tree right?
Well, same thing with passive income – you need to take care of your income streams too.
That’s why I prefer calling passive income as leverage income.
Use metaphors the right way and you’ll overcome your limiting belief. They’re very powerful because they relate to what you know and believe. But use wrongly, you’ll end up being one of those over-obsessed positive thinker who looks like cuckoo.
If you like what you read, it’ll be cool if you can leave a Comment as well. I’ll definitely appreciate it very much because I read every single Comment posted here personally.
To your success,

Unlock Your Brain Power Any Time You Want
May 15, 2009 by admin · 5 Comments
I want to share with you how our brain works –
Whatever ‘activity’ we’re trying to accomplish for success like to be creative, to have focus, increase energy, affirm positive habits, etc can be accomplished much better at the right frequencies it’s at.
This is the research data that I’ve gathered:
|
Frequency Range
|
Name
|
Usually associated with:
|
|
> 40 Hz
|
Gamma waves
|
Higher mental activity, including perception, problem solving, fear, and consciousness
|
|
13 – 40 Hz
|
Beta waves
|
Active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration, arousal, cognition. Most commonly found during our waking state.
|
|
7 – 13 Hz
|
Alpha waves
|
Relaxation (while awake), pre-sleep and pre-wake drowsiness. Most commonly found during meditation and states of relaxation.
|
|
4 – 7 Hz
|
Theta waves
|
Dreams, deep meditation, REM sleep
|
|
< 4 Hz |
Delta waves |
Deep dreamless sleep, loss of body awareness |

So if you want to be focused but you’re feeling sleepy, then you should get your brain to work at the Beta waves frequency. Make sense? And this is possible with the right brain technology.
It’s not some hocus pocus theory but scientifically proven with intensive 70 years old of research. The technology behind this is called, ‘brain entrainment’ and it’s becoming a very popular ’secret weapon’ for people to be in the best state to achieve short term and long term goals.
In a geeky term: Brainwave entrainment or “brainwave synchronization,” is any practice that aims to cause brainwave frequency to fall into step with a periodic stimulus having a frequency corresponding to the intended brain-state (for example, to induce sleep, being motivated, increase focus, etc). It depends upon a “frequency following” response, a naturally occurring phenomenon where the human brain has a tendency to change its dominant EEG frequency towards the frequency of a dominant external stimulus.
In a non-geeky talk, you now can control your brainwave state so that it can perform at the peak.
If you need to know more about brain entrainment, do a search on ‘brain entrainment’ on Google and you’ll see many explanations and research about this. As matter of fact, CEOs, athletics, entrepreneurs and even students are now using them to gain a competitive edge.
Until now, not many people have the privilege to use this technology because they are unaware of it or couldn’t afford it.
However, the Mind State Control System is affordable for anyone who wants to have this ’secret weapon’ to gain an unfair advantage.
Mind State Control System comprises of 10 audios to unlock your brain power at any time you want - it’s common to see other programs charge the same price for ONE AUDIO.
On top of that, I’m adding 3 more audios as a bonus for its new launch today. Go to:
http://www.successtrace.com/brainwave
Use it. I use the “Intense Focus” most often.
