Miracles In Your Life

Some guy bought a lottery ticket and didn’t hit the jackpot. So he doesn’t believe that miracles do happened in someone’s life. And of course, he doesn’t believes that miracles exist anymore in his life.

That’s because MOST PEOPLE see miracles as miracles. Winning the lottery IS a sort of a miracle because as far as I know, winning the lottery is harder than getting strike by the lightning.

But in actual fact, miracles do happen in your life- you just need to see it for yourself.

Trust and believe it exists and it’ll will do magic for you.

But first, you must know it’s there.

When you’re late for a meeting and you know that you’re going to be in trouble, suddenly, the meeting was delayed and you are ‘safe’.

When you’re driving and out of gas, there’s a gas station in front of you- which you never expect it to be there.

When you found the right person to share your life- and you know, that it’s impossible for you to have a wonderful person like her/him.

When you forgot to lock your house for a week when you’re out for a holiday but your house was not intrude by anyone else.

When you’re bitten by a poisonous snake but you’re treated on time.

When you propose a business idea to a partner that you think he’ll never agree to it but end up liking it.

When you know someone you love whose ill and became healthy again – despite the fact that the illness is suppose to get worse every day.

When you’re able to raise more fund than you’re expecting for a charity organization despite that the possibility is very slim.

And so many other kinds of incidents in our life that they happen positively toward us that are UNEXAPLAINABLE.

You can call them ‘coincidence’. Or you can treat them as ‘miracles’.

For me, I would prefer to have ‘miracles’ happening in my life as often as possible than ‘coincidence’ because it makes my life SPECIAL.

Now – I’m not hear to talk about religious interpretations here.

Would you want to live a special life that is full of unexpected positive incidents? Then start seeing how your life is so different and unique.

When that happens, I believe you’re become happier – but most importantly, more ‘miracles’ will happen to your life like Domino’s effect. :-)

Now, are you lying to yourself to say that you’re ‘special’? That would be a pretty weird question to ask because you’re the master of your own mind. If you don’t see yourself as a special person or having a wonderful life, who do you expect to see that for you? Remember – your mind attracts what it believes.

Patrick, it all comes down to “you are what you think about”. I think that every day that I can get out of bed and function is a miracle. Having a comfortable home, food to eat, a loving spouse are all miracles … but people cannot take these things for granted … people must have gratitude for these miracles so they will perpetuate.

    - you sleep and you wake up in the morning – that itself is a miracle

Patric, you are so right with this. Miracles happen to us every day and most don\’t see or appreciate them

I do not pray for the sun to rise, I am certain it will. I do not interefer with trees and grass to grow, they do. I breath effortlesly without being conscious. I walk without consciously thinking. I am happy from the sound of music. One has a choice, to observe life as if everything is a miracle or as if nothing is. I create my life and I am certain that life is the unfoldment. Life is images of the mind expressed. LIFE IS A BEAUTIFUL MIRACLE.

Your post reminded me of one of my favorite quotes of the hundreds that I have in my book, THE HAPPINESS TOOLKIT (www.thehappinesstoolkit.com). It\’s a quote from Albert Einstein:

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is.”

Yes, your post should be shared – what a wonderful attitude.

H Patric, People do have that idea that only grand events are really miracles. That is the reason that they don\’t see any magic in their lives. If you only see God in grand things you won\’t see him too often. If you see God in little things you will realize that he is there all the time. I like it better when he is always with me and not just there when big crisis strike. Thanks for reminding us of the magic.

If you believe you can do something you are right, and if you believe you can not do that you are also right. It will also be a miracle if you can build a castle in the air.

  13. Valentina says:

It is amazing how miracles happen in our lives all the time. I am a firm believer that expectation delivers – I expect miracles and the firmer my expectation and belief, the more miracles I have in my life. I admit, there are times that my belief is sorely tested, and it takes a lot of will and effort to get off that negative treadmill. Thanks or a good post.

  14. Laura Major says:

    You are so right, Chan.

As I was reading your post, I thought of so many miracles that have occurred just over the last four months because I decided to take a risk and pursue my dreams.

When I find myself getting anxious because I\’m not sure things are happening fast enough (I\’m embarking on a career as a freelance writer.) I reflect on how much better things are than I had originally anticipated. I noticed for my anxious is in the head, because all the while there seems to be this peace in my heart because I\’m following what I was set out to do.

    Thanks Chan!

    Sincerely,
    Laura

  16. Patrick says:

    Patric,

I would like to expand on your comments and share some thoughts about miracles and how they exist because of the choices we make.

I came to a profound, clear understanding of myself one late spring morning 25 years ago. I awoke in bed and like countless times before in my life I could not remember how I got there the previous night. But because of the reflection and study I had gone through during the prior months, this time was different.

This time, the first words I spoke to my (ex-)wife were: I – am – alcoholic.

When I said those three words I immediately, without hesitation knew what this understanding meant.

I had a choice to make.

    There was no-in-between.

No “a beer at lunch now and then”. No “glass of wine after dinner”.

It was a choice between Light and Darkness, between Life and Death.

I could continue drinking alcohol with a snowball’s chance in Hell to see even a fraction of my dreams come true.

    Or I could stop. Cold.

I knew in that moment… the only way I would ever have any chance to manifest my hopes and dreams into my life was to choose Life.

So I stopped. And have been sober for over 25 years. One might say it was a miracle I stopped. It wasn’t. It was a simple and profound choice.

And yes, I chose wisely. :-) Because I look at my life now. I look at the miracles in my life. My beautiful, wonderful wife and our two children. And I know without a doubt, that those miracles I experience every day would not be, could not be, if I had chosen differently 25 years ago.

If my choice had been different, I would now be dead.

Yes, we experience miracles around and within. But our miraculous journey is by choice.

That is the kind of power you and I have.

Best Wishes, Patric and Thank You,

    Patrick Donovan

    Hi
If you believe in a higher power that is there to help you then you will see all kinds of miracles in your life. Once you have made a commitment to a reasonable goal things just start showing up in your life to help you reach your goal. Life is great and it still amazes me just how great it is.
