“Don’t work hard, work smart.”

I guess you’ve heard that quote before and provably, a lot of times. Actually, that quote is only partially true… just like the saying of “money is the root of all evil”. No, the GREED of money IS the root of all evil – money is not evil in any ways.

Recently, I got a subscriber of mine telling me that he’s broke so he is manifesting for money to “appear”. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not here to critique manifestation or Law of Attraction. In fact, I think both of these are VERY powerful methods when the practitioner understands how they truly work and do *something*. But a person who’s going to do nothing other than “manifesting” is obviously trying to avoid working hard.

Do you what has happened to our society? Our society has been so pitched by ‘fast cash’ and ‘instant opportunities’ that sometimes, it truly blinded our sight. And it’s not your fault. Especially no with the Internet, everything seems to be fast. We’re so fixate with instant gratification, our mind gets clouded with the true secret to success.

If you’re the kind of person who is not willing to work hard for your own success, I’m sorry to tell this to you – it’ll be hard for you to become wealthy.

Yes, there are shortcuts and I’m a strong advocator of teaching others to use that but with shortcuts, you’ll still need to “walk” to your destination, right?

This is “my’ heritage hotel. I own the building and I hope this will generate more passive income into my life.

Now, I could never imagine I’ll be owning a building one day. If you’re wondering, no, I don’t own it 100% – I’m one of 3 owners for the entire building. Reason why I’m telling you about this is to stress a point – I’m glad I’ve worked hard in the past, otherwise, I wouldn’t have money to buy this building. The fact is, if you’re willing to work hard, your life could be very different in the future, perhaps, a wealthier life.

I like to share with 2 main key factors to working hard…

You can only work hard when you’re working smart. Everybody has 24 hours a day but why some people can make $10,000 a day while some people can only make $100 a day? Well, because the $10K people spend their ‘working hard’ time on something that give them a higher return of investment (ROI).  The lesson here is, delegate your time wisely – if you’re using your working time, make sure they’re spend on the highest yield tasks.

Working hard for many people is tough. It used to be for me too, but not that much anymore now.

You see, working is hard if you’re working. Get it?

I mean, let’s say you like watching TV and you get paid for doing that… would it still be hard? Of course not, right?

The only way how you can “work hard” is when you’re not working. Now, I don’t want to sound like a philosopher or something, but here’s what Confucius once said…

“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

The key is being able to work hard is to enjoy and love your work. Then everyday is about fulfilling your passion – living life the way how it should be.
