In the beginning, I don’t have the intention to write this. It just happened. But I was inspired after reading the comments I’ve received in the earlier post of “Going To The Next Level”.

I just know I need to write something to reciprocate what I’ve gotten from life. And from your time.

This article is all about me. Yes, me. And I’m proud to say that because I want it to be an example that we determine our own destiny.

And now, I don’t know how to start writing because my mind is empty and yet there are so many things I wanted to share and to hear stories of people all around the world how their life have changed. If you’re one of those, please post in the Comment so that I can read it.

Note that this article is not proof read to remain it’s originality and flow.

It’s almost 10 years now– the day I quitted schooling. I don’t know what to do then because I don’t have the money to go to a college or have the brain to continue my education in a University.

My richer friends are going overseas to study while the smart ones are hanging out together, choosing which Universities to go.

Me… I was left alone to live my life of uncertainty.

Mum was worried day and night, wondering where my life would be without ‘education’ and ‘connection’ to get me somewhere. Dad was busy driving taxi since he’s the breadwinner of the family.

I know at that time, THIS IS IT. Either I screw it up or do something about it because I don’t want to be just another person. I believe somehow, there are more to life than getting a job to live by.

My first ‘job’ was selling greeting cards, door-to-door without salary. If I sell a pack of cards for 10 bucks, I get paid 2 bucks in commission by the end of the day. I’ll walk office to office to sell cards and stand at shopping mall entrances trying to convince visitors to buy my greeting cards. Once in a while, I need to hide my stack of cards or else the shopping mall security guard will chase me away like my life is worth pennies.

Life wasn’t hard. Life was… interesting in its own way of expressing. And challenging. However, I was motivated to sell the greeting cards. Maybe, I was unconsciously avoiding the reality that I have no direction in life.

You see, I know I can live an ordinary life with what I can do at that time but the question was, for how long? Then I started going to seminars and read books.

At seminars, I would be all excited trying to learn as much as I can– taking as much notes as possible until my hand will soar. If the seminar is out of my city, I would take a bus ride, sleep in a cheap hotel and eat bread to attend. Just thinking of that, I could smile right now.

At seminars, I’ll try to ‘network’ with as many people as I can but no one would want to entertain or mix with me because I was a Nobody. It’s kind of depressing when you’re all motivated and doing your best to be successful but the Universe doesn’t seem to respond.

Why!?

It’s either I was innocent ore irritating. But I could always remember a person that will spend his time to answer my questions and sincere to chat with me. His name is Sam and he’s probably isn’t reading this article. From the bottom of my heart, I like to say, thanks Sam. It means a lot to me. That’s another lesson I’ve learned about success– you’ll gain more respect by showing respect to others and maintain humble regardless of where you are.

Most of them will give me one of kind of look… the look that says, “What’s wrong with this guy?” They just don’t understand how eager I was to become successful and prove to the world that I ‘chan’ do it. And I think most of them are just where they’re today since years ago while I’ve traveled to 11 countries as a speaker, wrote my own book and inspiring thousands of people across the globe today.

Then at one time, I was told that Robert Kiyosaki, best-selling author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad was coming to my city to speak. At that time, I saw an opportunity. Immediately, I contacted the seminar organizer asking their permission to allow me to sell the seminar’s ticket as a reseller.

That was my paradigm shift– because for the first time in my life, I was able to make 5-figure income in a single month.

I would photocopied the brochure and ride my motorcycle to ALL OF THE OFFICE UNITS in my city and several condominiums. There, I’ll slip in the brochure to every single letter box I can see.

If you’re wondering why I was riding a motorcycle instead of driving a car, there are many reasons to it. First, my car is an old car which not something cool to be seen in. Second, it’s cheaper to ride than drive. Third, I could bypass the security guards pretending to be a delivery boy when I was going to office blocks to delivery brochures.

On the surface, it looks like an easy job. But in reality, I was going through bitterness– that no one could understand. Maybe you would since not many people knew this story.

I earned $30 per ticket sold but I was able to make over $10,000. Work on the maths and you would see that I’ve probably filled the whole room with participants.

Before this happens, let me share with you my simple love life. I used to have a girlfriend. A wonderful girl, I would say. But she left me. When she did that, my life was upside down. Ever have that kind of feeling that everything seems to be meaningless to you? All you can see is her smile and yet, that smile no longer belongs to you anymore but to another man. All but flashing memories of happiness which was that moment, sadness.

It’s not her fault, probably mine. But that event has changed my life. You know when they, ‘everything happens for a good reason’? This is one of the cases. Although I cried day and night wishing she’ll accept me back, even when I was alone in the office I would burst into tears, it have changed me to be a better person. A stronger one too. An inspiration on it’s own weird nature. After that, I realized two things– never take what you have for granted and I’m worth more than what I think I’m worth.

I became a working machine.

My first venture of entrepreneurship was organizing and marketing sales seminar. There’s no employees. I am the human resource, sales, finance and customer service department. And with my trusty bike, old car, a phone and fax machine, I think nothing’s going to stop me. I could have never started if this gentleman did not give me his trust and sincerity– Marco Robinson was my speaker and partner at that time. I’ll do everything and he’ll speak. What a combo. Today, he’s someone that I would called, a friend. Someone that I would do what I can if he needs a favor and I know, he’ll do the same for me.

Speaking of friendship, how do you define friends?

I’ve seen speakers and authors in my circuit who claimed to have many friends. More like namedropping to me. If they’re no longer having the wealth and recognition that they have today, will their friends still be around?

Friends are people who never exploit you or hurt you mentally or physically.

I was once told a simple way to define what is a friend…

Friends are those who will come to bail me out of jail if I’m stuck in other country without anything left.

How many do you have? Don’t tell me because it might be embarrassing to know the truth. I would say, I’ll probably have a handful of friends and I’m not ashamed of that but thankful I have them in my life.

When I was driving back from visiting a friend for Christmas, it was raining. I stopped my car at the traffic light when it turned red. Looking at my side, there was a young man riding a motorbike, all wet with rain. He was not smiling or showing any anger. Just slightly disappointed why he’s ‘stuck’. I was driving my 2-car sleek black Mercedes car and he was on the same bike I was riding just a few years back– when I was ‘stuck’ in life. When I look at him, I see myself going through the phrase of success. It was ‘me’. I don’t know why he’s rushing back but it reminded me about rushing home for dinner years ago. In our family, we always try to eat dinner together because it’s a way to show appreciation and love towards our old folks. And I do want to keep that culture in years to come. Also because, I don’t want to spend money buying dinner and no other people to have dinner with me back then.

If you can, do take the time to have dinner with your parents– or children. Trust me, you’ll have a joyful moment.

Today, I can dine dinner without caring about the bills. Whether it;s in London, Paris or Los Angeles, I know that my pocket will have the money to pay. Isn’t that a good feeling? It is.

But I will never forget my roots. I try to find the same feeling that I got when I eat at a posh restaurant but it could never be the same when I was struggling to pay for it. Don;t get me wrong, it still taste and feel good but it wasn’t the same feeling anymore. Success will only be meaningful if you know how to appreciate it.

I treasured the first coat that I’ve bought to attend seminars during a 50% sale more then my new tailor-made coat.

Years ago, I was looking for opportunities. Today, I have to decline opportunities politely because there are already too many of them on my table.

I could just pick up the phone to call many best-sellers authors when many years ago, I don’t even have the money to attend their seminars.

Sometimes, I feel like I’m dreaming– having all of the riches in life that have never been possible for a once-ordinary person like me. I’m not saying that I’m wealthy but I’m just very grateful. I will attract two types of people– those who celebrates with me or envy of my achievement. For those who celebrates it, I look forward to have the honour to celebrate your success with you soon. For those who envy me, don’t. But do envy me if it will inspire you to go to the next level of success because if I “Chan” do it, you “Chan” do it.

When I met the love of my life, Emily, I have some spare chance in my pocket but not millions of dollars. We have gone through thin and thick, happiness and sadness. She’s now my wife and I have plans to share my life with her in years to come.

When choosing someone to be with you for the rest of your life, it’s interesting that we love a person because of just one reason– we love him (or her). There are times that you’ll argue and be unhappy with them. That’s just part of package to be in lovel. And sometimes, you feel like separating. But once separated, you’ll then start to realize how much you miss them and regret for the rest of your life. Just so you know, it’s easy to love a person back from an argument– pick up his/her picture, look deep inside and remember the good things both of you have together– whether it’s hardship that both of you have been through or when both of are joyous. You’ll smile and appreciate what you have in your life. Summary? Love is very fragile. Treasure it or someone else will.

If I can rewind time, I would have… no. I wouldn’t think of it. Living in present is the key to live a fulfilling life. There’s no point to regret what you have done and hope that you have done it better. I’m not saying that if someone have committed crime, he should not feel regret about it. You get my point, don’t you?

We can never live in the past. Simply because, it doesn’t exist anymore and yet so many people can’t find to grasp that concept.

What you should focus is what YOU can do best today. That will make sure that you’ll never regret what you’ve missed. Doing best doesn’t means just about making money or advancing your career. It could be touching other people’s life or just taking the time to smell the roses.

If you can make more money now, do it.

If you can be healthier, do it.

If you love someone more, do it.

If you can become more knowledgeable, do it.

If you can climb Mount Everest, do it!

Do what you can like there’s no tomorrow.

You see, money is always an interesting topic to talk about. Many people are confused about money. Making money is NOT the purpose of life. We make money because it’s a useful vehicle for us to enjoy life.

Like, it’s Christmas now. If you have a lot of money, you can buy a bigger present. But it’s still the present that counts.

You need to have balance of life. It’s easy for me to say this today because I’m there. I’m sure I cannot say the same thing 5 years ago. That time, I would think that money is everything to the so-called, balance of life. To be blunt honest with you, the things I’ve bought today which I want them so much last time, do not have the same value as they are today. I’m not sad or happy. Do not get the wrong message. Money is IMPORTANT to live a richer life. I’m just telling that it’s no longer the same.

In my life now, I value time more than anything else in the world.

You got to know what you want, my friend. Money is just an end to another means. Whatever that sentence supposed to mean. If you can make more money but it’ll take up another big chunk of your time, then I would advice you to not accept it. Use your time to experience love and enjoy your life. Being richer doesn’t make you happier, although some see it as being more successful. Some will not resonate with me but that’s ok. It’s their life and they can choose to live it anyway they like.

I guess I’ve wrote a lot about myself today. If you’ve read all, I like to take the opportunity to thank you very much because it shows your sincerity to be connected. Although, changes are that we’ve never met or spoken, I feel that we’re kindred soul in a way, to cross path in this exciting journey of success that is full of uncertainty… and certainty.

If you like what you read, it’ll be cool if you can leave a Comment below. I’ll definitely appreciate it very much because I read every single Comment posted here personally.

    Patric,

Your journey is an inspiring story. On some of the same levels and on different levels, one or all of us can relate to your struggles to get to where you are now. The loneliness and the solitude really comes through in the story. Some of us just starting our journey some of us already reaping the rewards of our determination…..can feel the words and the emotions that have brought you to this place in your life. Your drive, determination and desire ooze off the page(in this case screen)as you shared. As human beings it is so important that we do share and communicate in this manner. Imagine if you had been able to read this type of thing when you were going through the tough times. This is why we are here to help, encourage, and make this planet better and better. We were born in essence to serve eachother. Thank you Patric. God Bless you as you go.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to Yourself and Emily.

    Patric,

I will be more than happy to be
    the first to comment… I hope…:)

    Reading through your post while
listening to the music is really
making my eyes fill with tears…

Somehow I can relate your story
to myself… Since young I have
    always wanted to be financially
    free…

    To do whatever I want…

    Buy whatever I want…

    Travel to places others can
    only dream of…

    Help and contribute to the
    world…

    Provide better living to my
    family and loved ones…

It’s 3.18am now and the reason
I’m awake is because I’m doing
some planning to my goals and
    business going into 2008…

Yeah, you gotta know what you
want to get what you want in
    life…

That is what I learned from my
mentor, Jack Zufelt when I attended
    his “The Zufelt Experience” 3-Day
    weekend retreat back in October…

Sometimes I may get stuck in life
but I noticed that it is how you
get out of a spin as what Tony
    Robbins said in “Unlimited Power”
    back in September…

Yeah I was the one who caught you
outside the hall and pestered an
angry-faced guy to help us take
a picture of me and you…

I really wanted to attend a Tony
Robbins seminar and also to meet
    you in person…

When I received your email saying
you were going to “Unlimited Power”,
    my excitement turned quadruple…

I told myself I had to catch you
if I saw you in person…

    And I did…

I went back to Malaysia a happy
    man…

All and all, I always felt that
    I am a lucky person…

    Almost everything I wanted in
life, God will fulfill it someway
    or another, sooner or later…

    All except one left…

    To be financially free…

To be frank, I am already having
visions of what my life would be
    in the next 3-5 years…

And when the time comes, we’ll
    be meeting up…

Thank you Patric for being an
    inspiration to all of us…

Anyone new or old coming to read
your blog will know you are truly
a person of perfection and sincere.

God Bless, Happy New Year 2008!

    Hi Patric;

I want to say thank you for the article “going to the next level”. I really enjoyed reading it but
this one has has really been a pleasure.

I had decided to quit the internet marketing and just live out the rest of my life sitting watching TV

You see I just turn 70 years old in October, then had open heart surgery in September and was feeling
my life was about over so there wasn’t any need for me to continue trying.

After reading your articles, I have decided there is no quitting place, and if there is, I’m not there yet.

I hope if anyone reading this is thinking about giving up, remember, you don’t know what’s around
the next bend. Whether it’s good or bad, it’s worth going around the bend because no matter what
we will be a stronger and better person because we dared.

    Patric,

What an inspiration you are to those of us that have a dream, but face the hurdles associated with chasing that dream. I have had numerous failures along the way, not reached some of my goals, and probably would have quit, if it wasn’t for souls like you. Thank you for bearing your heart and mind to us. Peace and much prosperity in your life this coming year.

  7. Umberto December 26, 2007 at 4:30 pm #

    Dear Patrick,

I cannot believe you wrote this article inspired by my little comment! Thanks you kindly.

Thanks again for sharing with me (and others)your own history; that shows to us you are sincere; one can be in agree to your ideas or not, but none can says you copied them from a book, and it is the best starting point to have adepts.

One last thing: to share or not one’s ideas does not means to respect or not the person behind them.

You deserve all respect as a fellow creature, and each cent in your wallet was earned with your own effort. And that is an example of honesty. I believe that is your principal gun.

    Cheers. !

    Hi Patric,

What can anybody say about your success,”You are Great.” I really appreciate what you write on your blog eventhough I didn’t leave any comments previously except the latest one on “going to the next level” and this.

The music comes alone well while reading your destiny.(I still listen to your Binagual Audio Meditation sometimes.) It would touch a lot of people who is reading your post.

It’s funny somehow that when a person succeed and have money, money could be not an issue anymore to them as they will look for other happiness. Now, I tell people that as long as they have money eventhough it’s just enough as a salary worker, to be appreciative and glad for it as they don’t know what no money is.

For me, I once have some money, enough for me to go on vacations, bring my wife and boy for holiday trips, nice dinner at restaurant or tasty buffet for my boy to play around, X’mas/New Year Feast or anytime we like it.

I feel thankful to the Universe for what has been given to me, my experience & lesson learned, etc..etc.. Even though I am broke now & it’s not the broke that people use to say, only to avoid someone borrowing from them or asking them for financial help.

This explains that Money is important, if not we can’t take up Mentoring Programs to succeed on the Internet when we needed it most. This is the ‘Stop Point’ without money.

It’s really inspiring reading your blog. Thanks..

    Best Wishes,
    Frankie

  9. John Michael Christian December 26, 2007 at 5:56 pm #

    Hi Patric,
I just wanted to thank you for sharing your story. It’s very inspiring, and it’s also important that people know where others have been and that they have changed their lives. After my wife died in 1994 I was completely lost and realized that I had no idea who I was or what my life was about, so I quit my job and turned my house in Arizona into a monastery and began to pray and meditate all day long. I did this for years until I ran out of money and had to sell the house. I knew that I wasn’t finished with my journey, so moved out into the forests of the soutwestern U.S. for most of the next five years. During that time my life completely changed as a result of experiencing three spiritual awakenings. Now I teach people how to realize success and discover their true nature, and I make my living online. It’s still touch and go sometimes where money is concerned, but things are vastly different than they were when I was an unhappy guy working a job I didn’t like just to make money. The reason I’m telling everyone this story is because I also know that it can be done. All it takes is desire and perseverance and anything can be changed.
    All the best,
    John

    Hi Patric,

Inspiring story. While the masses attended Universities, you attend the school of hard knocks which definitely brought a wealth of experience.

I particular like the part where you were so proactive and took the approach to be a reseller to Robert Kiyosaki’s seminar.

There’s simply magic and courage to your actions. There will always be some periods in life where one feel lost and confused but you just simply continue to march your way through and see the light.

I learned a lot today and really get to understand you so much better as a person. I wish you all the best and hope to see you in Singapore soon for perhaps the next World Internet Summit.

  14. Johari December 26, 2007 at 8:40 pm #

    Hi Patric,

You know what. you are very honest. That’s make me admired you, the way you talk, shows your ideas and coaching techniques.

For me, it’s like you are being “teaching” by the nature lessons instead of reading books and doing it.

Your story is so inspired me. I immediately remember when I was start my ambition to be a money freedom.I want to be millionaire in before my age turn to 30.

I’m starting a little bit late , just in my age of 22. Before that age, my life just only full of computer games, playing football, watching tv and the most crazy thing I do is become a hacker. Luckily, I already ‘resign’ to to that stuff. If not, may be I’m going to jail.

In my age 22, I was figure out what I really want in my life. Then, I saw my friends get successes from their MLM. I slightly jealous with them because just in early age of 22, they already got their own car and have a lot of money rolling in their bank.

Since then, I put a ambition in myself to be a money freedom. Yeah, I know I have to learn a lot. Starting from control my spends ( this is the hard thing for me), read a lot of books and ebooks, put my effort try and error and many more.

Surely I got failures too. And, most my money are being wasted to the hyip programs that I hate till now. ( for newbies never try to near it).

In my age 23, I start to know about internet marketing. It’s sounds realistic to me and I started to learn about it.

Then at this time I was found your blog Patric. I read all your post and that make me more eager to success in internet marketing till now. ( I’m 24 :) )

I put all your advise to my action and lately I become one of your student in your Chan Do Success System.

I know I’m not success yet, but like you just said ,enjoy the life and work hard for the success.

I’m really enjoy the journey now and I hope to ‘see’ my success in year 2008. :)

    Thanks Patric.You are rock!

One Comment mentioned about how the lost of his love, who is his wife, was a turning point.

What event in your life have changed from where you’re previously to where you are today?

I read every single of the Comment and thank-you very much for leaving your thoughts here. Although I cannot reply all of the Comments personally, but I do know each of you.

It seems like a long time ago that we became aquainted in cyberspace. This really is a testiment to how small the world is, even though it is a large as it has been for the last billion years or so.

Try taking a long walk sometime. I was watching “The Lake House” with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves the other night. Alex (Keanu) asked Kate (Sandra) to take a walk through the city with him in a letter. He described all the wonderful aspects of his favorite architecture. Some things that most people ignore or never see. She of course is amazed and romanced into his perception of beauty. Beauty that can be shared even though they couldn’t be in the same place. The walk was wonderful.

Patrick, I have been on somewhat of a walk with you over the past year or so. I’ve read many of your stories and seen many of your emails. I appreciate your perspectives and sincere recommendations for improving lifes moments. They are very important and I do agree with you about the magic of living regardless of where you live, what economics you enjoy, or what relationship you are in.

For instance, right now, the day after Christmas, I am listening to “Christmas with the Rat Pack” (Dean, Frank, Sammy). I have had a good Christmas and hesitate to let the holiday totally escape. I’ll hold on to it for a couple more days, then WOOOHOOOO!!!!

    Hi Patric,
I really appreciate your writing skill. You put the things in such a way that the negative part of it becomes the point of motivation. Keep it up and let people get the benefit of your talent.

[sorry, my finger accidentally hit the "Tab" button and it submitted the comment. Just add this to the one I already sent]

IT WILL BE TIME TO CELEBRATE THE START OF 2008. But when you think about it, you should really celebrate every day that you get to enjoy a sunrise, a cold winter morning, a butterfly, distant bird song, etc. So whether it be the 24th of December, 4th of July, Thanksgiving or New Years, you should celebrate every day that you can take another breath. Celebrate that you can make a difference in another persons life. Celebrate that you have the opportunity to create a smile on a small childs face.

I have not been too successful over the last 4 years. just like your story about perserverance. If I keep learning and growing, and stay commited to my beliefs, I will eventually meet the right people who will become my success partners. I am so convinced I am in the right place, it just isn’t the right time yet, or I haven’t made the right discovery yet. So I will continue on my journey, regardless of the outcome, and I will be happy for the experiences of growth I have had.

Patrick, thank you for your continued silent mentorship through email inspirations. You are a winner and you “Chan” do many more wonderful things in life.

    Blessings to you and Emily.

    Hi patric
I agree on how you judge “success” , in which most people judged in material terms. If we believe that material wealth is the most improtant thing in our lives, then we will give this a higher priority over all else. Everything in our life is just focusing on getting more money to buy bigger house, bigger tv , bigger car and so on ..and as a consequences we have to work long hours to pay these things and definitely something has to give away ie has less time with family or friend.
Getting the most out of our lives and getting the most out of our time are totally intertwined. It’s as much about attitudes to life as it is about skills.

It’s heart to heart Patric! It’s magical enough to make a hardcore businessperson realise that s/he too has a heart that is capable of being touched by human bonds.
    Thanks for beautiful moments.

Thank you for those inspirering words. I too lost so much on the journey, but have found a better purpose, for me, and my family, small as it may be.

Personal love has alluded me so much. I find it, and then its gone, by some strange destiny in the moment thrusted upon us. My heart yearns to be closer to people every day, and yet they always ask me how do I stay happy with nothing? My amswer is that my unhappinees, and poverty is a temporary state as you said. I will always look for the moment, or better still, the oppurtunity which is to beheld, for that is from a greater power then us all. Thank you so much for sharing with us your wonderful journey to peace and happiness.

    Hi Patric

Jiayu here. What can I say?

    You have touched and inspire
    me with this sharing.

I am really grateful to have
    “attracted” you Patric, you are
very much the Sam figure to me.

Thank you for always taking time
to answer me and I am grateful for
    your mentorship and definitely friendship.

Both you and emily are wonderful people
and I am glad to have spoken to both
of you and will be looking forward to
more of these when we meet.

    Thanks Patric!

I would like to share with you and
the readers on this blog about a quote
    that I have just read.

It says,”Accept the challenges of life
so that you may feel the exhilaration of
    victory!”

I believe that is only a minor part to
    the big picture.

The other major part should be,”Accept the challenges of life so that you may feel the exhilaration ON YOUR WAY to victory!”

    What is your take?

Take care and here’s wishing You and Emily
    a Happy New Year!

    With Lots Of Love
    Jiayu

    Dear Patric,

You are the second person I met with the surname that sound like ‘can’. Both have shown me the spirit of can do.
Both are very successful in their life today. Both come from a humble background dan remain humble through their meteroic rise.

    Thank you for sharing.

    Hi Patric Chan

It is very pleasant and exciting to hear the story from you. You are indeed a great figure. At the age of 26 you have been so successful. I am just about to start everything. I just would like to share my story a bit. I hope you want to hear from me. I am 22 this year. The only skill that I have is only English. I lived in P.Brandan a small town around 84 kilometres from Medan ,North Sumatra, Indonesia for almost 18 years. Then I’ve stayed in Medan since 2004. I got my BBA last year. I have a job as a manager in an English Course now.

Back in 2004 when I first came to Medan I worked as an English teacher. I made a lot of mistakes since I had no experience in teaching. Some students quit maybe because I was a boring teacher. Then I began to learn from my mistakes. Until one day I came to a soothsayer. He suggested me to change my Chinese name. I followed the advice and everything seem runs easier than usual afterwards. I am not telling you in order for you to believe me but I just realize that whatever we really believe in will come true.

I am still looking forward to new opportunities and challenges so that I can support my parents at the age of 25 later. Since I am the eldest and the only son I think it is my responsibility to do it. I really want to have a lot money and have the ability to manage my cashflow at that age.

I feel I still need to learn more as you said that we need to continuously read new books to stay being successful. Thanks a lot for your sharing story and may I know where you live? Is it an English speaking country? I would love to hear from you again.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008

    GOOD LUCK!

    Best wishes,

    Chen JuYuan

    Hi Patric,

This is the first time I am posting comments for you! Thank you for sharing those information on how you were struggling and how you overcomed your past situations through your hard work, passion and enthusiasm. This will surely be an inspiration and will motivate anyone who is depressed in life thinking about the present status. You are an example to prove that there are many ways to improve ourselves financially and the path of the life is not narrow.

    Thanks a lot once again…

Wish you a very happy new year!

    Hi Patric

This is my pleasure that you sent me “I was Inspired by You to Write This” article.

I find this article, a true heroic history of achievement from ZERO to HERO, as a MASTER-PIECE to learn how to correct our problems in such a complicated lifestyle of to-day’s World.

I appreciate your true & simple words & language, expressing you sorrow & joy, whatever, you learned from the terrible working frield & passed to us without any hesitation so that we can understand your emotion in eash stage of your life. This is really fantastic.

Hi Patric, the Hero Of Asia & the Prince of Malaysia. I would like to pay my honour & thanks from my heart, so that the huminity of the World should learn from your success & thus nobody should broke in his life whatever the present status he is prevailing.

I got your blog 2-days before when only 16 comments was there. I have my earnest desire to put my comment on that day but due to my day-to-day export responsibility it is late & now I see that I am the person who is in 39th comments list. So sad for me.

At the end of 2008 I wish your future generation with you too. Best of luck.

    Hi Patric,

this was truly a great and inspirational story :) . I still remember it like yesterday when you first contacted me for a JV while you were starting out in Internet marketing back in 2003.

You have achieved a lot of success in a remarkably short period of time and I want to take the chance to congratulate you on this from the bottom of my heart! You really deserve it. Like one of the other commenters already said it: It was your proactive approach that made you successful.

You were not just waiting for success to come to you. You were actively doing something to ATTRACT success like Joe Vitale probably would say. Your story is the coming alive of the success principles shown in “The Secret”.

Personally, I think, you are one of the few Internet marketers who are really taking the time to build a personal relationship with each and every single of your subscribers. This is truly what matters most…

Because: What sense would it make to build a list of 100,000 people if they never read what you are saying? I am sure that most of YOUR subscribers are reading your writings and if not: Shame on them!

I wish you and Emily a very successful year 2008!!

    Your buddy,

    Detlev Reimer

Thank you for sharing Patrick. It was a really inspiring story. I can relate your experience to myself to my situation now. It made me to really think back what I’ve done back then and I had achieved so far. I wish to be like you someday.

Wish you a wonderful year of 2008.
