Why I Hated Success

When I meet people at seminars or having conversation with friends, they always compliment how lucky of me to be where I am today– with the successes that I have.

And I’ll nod my head thanking for their kind words.

But I think ‘Luck’ just played a small role of where I am today. It’s not that I don’t want to acknowledge it or due to my ego. I just don’t want to lie to you and keep you in the dark of the true ‘secret’ of wealth.

5 years ago, I hate success.

It was full of pain.

The more I seek for success, the more desperate I became.

I saved my money to attend seminars.

Then I went home with even more ideas but I don’t think I was getting closer.

I was a moody, frustrated and confused person. And broke.

Why wouldn’t. I was still struggling to make end’s meet.

I know how it feels like when dreams are being looked down upon. Crushed.

When no one would want to associate with you.

Fortunately, there were a few people who would entertained me to give advice and listened to my big dreams. These people are always remembered and they remain to be my good friends until today.

You know, Patric, the worst part is pretending to be rich for the sake to look good. That;s stupid. And it hurts to know the ugly truth.

People can smell that.

I know I can.

I went back and forth for many years on the quest to seek the success formula.

Seminars. Books. Courses. Whatever tools I could get my hands on.

That was several years ago and now, I could confidently say that I know the ‘formula’ after speaking in 9 countries and authored my own book.

It’s the same thing that I’m doing to repeat success and they are always the same external factors that are either helping or stopping to get what you want.

Find them out and they’ll be your ally.

At first, I wanted to sell my ‘formula’ but after several months of developing it, I’ve made the conclusion to make it available for free. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not the world’s most generous person ever live. I’m just sick and tired seeing all kind of ‘new age’ programs promising you to achieve success without putting any effort.

Success is achievable with the right ‘system’ but you must be willing to do your part– taking actions.

So here’s my ‘secret’ and it’s free:

    Hi Patric,

Fantastic job! Thanks for your videos there. I already go through all the videos and I really passionate about the ” Hidden Success Blocker”. Em, guess what, I got BIG problem to this.

    Hi Johari,

I got the same problem as well when I first started. This is a “Universal” problem that everyone faces to achieve success.

to ‘sell’ something one must absolutely believe in it.Else it will turn out to be a waste of everyone’s energy.
YOu seem to believe and most importantly practice what you are selling(preaching) and that seems to be the real deal.

By selling I mean selling your formula/idea,albeit not for money.

    Hi Patric
I do agree that success may bring some restrictions to your social freedom. But it would be really fulfiling if you were to help other people to be just as successful. You were great at UYMG! Really learnt quite a lot of new stuff on Niche Marketing 2.0 Thanks

  6. There are hundreds of success stories all over the world. All of them come with effort, frustration, happiness and challenges. However, it’s very refreshing to read something that remembers the people who have helped in the achievement of that success. While individual success can be attributed to one person’s will and determination to succeed, there are always external factors helping to make it happen. More power to you.

Hi, Patric,i really enjoyed the reading about your success. 10 factors to success really impress me so much, actually we have some factors already, but we never think why we win sometimes, your consolidation and “system” are amazing for every one who read your success i think and believe!!

  8. Patric,

Just a couple of years back, i too hated success. I hated to see people who had it all made. It seemed like i was destined to always fail.

However i realized that if i really wanted to have every thing i wanted in life then i had to feel the pain, yet push myself to success.

Then i started reading, listening to and attending every book, tape and seminar i could find and then … nothing hapened.

    Why?

I knew there was something missing. And i set out to discover what it is. No, even though many “New Age” wtriters make bogus claims, i know what i discovered was real. I discovered the secret of mentorship. i write about it in my eBook, “Failure Buster:The One and Only but Often Ignored Success Technique That Works Every Single Time Without Fail.”

Success like you said is achievable with the right ‘system’-having a mentor- but everyone must be willing to do their own part– taking action. That’s true.

I just hope every one of your readers realises this.

Thank you for your wisdom which you share here.

    May God keep you alive.
