My Top 10 Personal Development Mindsets And Attitudes

November 15, 2009 by admin

I want to share with you my top 10 personal development mindsets and attitude to achieve great success in life. Will they work for you? I don’t know but these are the ones that I practice personally in my life…

(Note: It’s really funny when I watch the video and realized that I’ve used grammatically wrong words – it’s supposed to be ’self-confident’ but I said, ’self-confidence’ :-) .)

If you like the video and find it valuable, your feedback in the Comment below would be appreciated – I read every single one personally.

Also, feel free to use this video as content on your blog if you like it. Click here to get this personal development video on youtube.

Best regards,

Patric Chan

P.S: I think the GREATEST personal development book is none other than Think And Grow Rich. I mean, you can learn from me or any personal development guru out there… but still, most of the core principles are from this book. Would you believe it that Vic would like to send you a copy of the book to your doorstep for free? Click here to get it now.

    Hey there Patric.

When I first saw your e-mail talking about this video. The first thing came out in my mind is “Wow! This must be the greatest video that I’ll ever watched from Patric! Perhaps it is”.

Thanks to your giving your top 10 (which i cant wait wait to know another 5) personal success mindset.

I do have think and grow rich from Napoleon Hill and one thing I believe in there is we must have a definite purpose statement.

    Thanks once again Patric.
    :)

first I thought, what now again?

    But this is good :)

I love the apple metaphor…that really changed something in my vision, thanks for that one…needed it – makes totally clear what doubts/fears do to believing in you and why a clear mind is directly related to believe in yourself…

self-starter > the student becomes the teacher

I think this goes even further:
Because that way you need to let that person tell you tomorrow to go on again, because you don\\\’t feel like it, that new tomorrow for example.

Or you want to dream again and talk about what you are going to achieve, the next day instead of doing the \\\’dirty\\\’ work \\\’ and kick yourself in the butt to go at it,

You need to kick yourself then again…so you need to be that self starter every day

    If that arises…

Silence & peace of mind will help through full attention and taking your time…
no more rush & hype….letting go of the urge to be there already at the end of the road, so you can brag and dream again

when you reach that point, of letting go, dropping the hype & rush, everything you do or work on is beautiful, joyful….every step of the journey becomes meaningful then and is that is more powerful then achieving the goal itself, because every step is the goal and contributes to that goal.

i hope this makes all sense :) it does for me, but a million words can not describe the feel and state of mind – that has to be experienced by one itself and the only way is to shut up talking and again to….

    just do it! :)
-but take your time and enjoy what(ever) you are doing-

    Hi Patric,
Thank you so much! Great video, I especially liked your explanation of the terms “Being Optimistic” and “Positive Thinking”. I truly hope that everyone who watches your video understands the difference. I have so many friends and tamily members who call me “Blessed” or “Lucky”. Which is so not true! I have as much negative things befall me as the next person. The difference is I have this core optimistic belief in my heart that when something ” negative” happens it will put me on a path to something even greater than what I had previously. And it comes true every time! I guess because I am optimistic I look for the positive outcome so I recognize the positive outcome. Anyways you hit the nail on the head! Look forward to more videos!

    Thank you so very much.

Thank you that thought me alot especially on the topics of optimistic and self start. I have been avoiding to be self starter in many things afraid to be laughted at. But now I’ll do my best on that.thanks a lot.

    Patric,
Looking forward to the next five. This is a handy summary and reminder of key points that many self-help programs talk about but to see it like this, all summarized in a short video, drives the point home even better. Thanks for taking time to do this! It’s a wonderful gift.
My favorite was to “Be open”. Too many times in life we let our cynicism get in the way and we close ourselves to positive energy, then we end up destroying our belief in ourselves and that leads to us to not being self-confident and subsequently destroying our chances to be self-starters. These points are all connected, everyone should be aware of that.
    Thanks again!

How can I practice to be the Self-starter person ? Hope you have the answer.

    Patrick,
This is great information. Especially the part about believing in yourself. That is a major step in achieving your goals. The belief system is the strongest system human beings possess. If you can believe it you can achieve it! Thanks and keep up the great work.

    Hi Patrick,

Nice apple analogy. It makes me happy that someone can make these 5 cliche subjects interesting, and actually make me think about them. Thanks.

Apologies, I meant ‘Patric’. I’m foreign. Spelling is not yet my no.1 talent.
